LUMINOUS BROWN AND BLUE EARRINGS These Sea Shimmer Blue earrings pair luminous Czech glass with silver plated and brown accent beads. The brass ear wires are plated in .999 fine silver. The translucent glass has a pale, watery blue tone and soft shimmering luster that reflects ambient light, moving from light silver blue to steel blue to deeper slate blue against darker backgrounds. The brown accent glass reflects warm golden and smoky tones. Each softly irregular disc has an organic round outline that keeps the shape relaxed rather than perfectly geometric.
The drops are surprisingly lightweight with a slim profile and an irregular finish. Blue and brown work naturally with denim, cream, taupe and other earthy neutrals. Subtle variations in the luminous finish give each Czech glass bead its own character.
