ARTISAN-MADE ABALONE JEWELRY Our pāua and Czech glass earrings combine luminous shell drops with vintage beads in ocean-inspired hues, fire-polished to a soft, quiet luster. Pāua is prized for its unusually deep iridescence, with color that lives within the shell rather than sitting on the surface. Found only in the cold waters off New Zealand, it shifts from blue and green to flashes of violet as the light moves across it.
The pāua used here was hand-chosen 15 to 20 years ago for its shape and color, and has never been dyed, laminated, veneered, resin-coated, or color-enhanced. Each pair of dangling earrings is one of a kind, complemented by .925 sterling silver ear wires.
